Rode the R1 today

Rode my friends R1 Yamaha today, lots of power and sounds awesome with the Two Brothers after market cans. Didn't get on it much since it's not broke in yet. Great way to spend Easter weekend.

Haven't ridden the R1 since it first appeared..so i can only guess at how much it's
improved Is it just me or are these type of bikes getting smaller?
I find it difficult to tell sometimes between a 600 and a 1000..they seem very similar.
Friend of mine as a Kawasakai ZX1200R..that he's had for a while now and i ride that at every chance i get it's got lots of power and i like the size of it.

The R1 dosen't feel like it weighs any more than my Speed Four but sure puts out more umph. The seating position is hard on the wrist, but the exhaust note is music to the ears.

Had the pleasure of all that power for 6 years. Nothing matched up for many years until I got the Rocket. Ok, the handling is different but ripping your arms out of the sockets is comparable.
