Hello everyone. I just discovered this site and it is great to have folks with the same interests to share info with. I am riding a 2005 Rocket III in Thailand and only having the bike for a little over 2 months I am still amazed everytime I hit the starter as to the overwhelming power of this bike. I have been riding Harleys most of my life with a short stint on a Yamaha Royal Star which in itself is quite a nice bike, but there is only one Rocket:cool:. Thailand is a beautiful country to ride in once away from the urban areas and I am having much fun on this bike. Again, hello to all. :D

Howdy there Haloids,
Welcome aboard.
A 2005 huh?
Standard or classic?
Color?
Post pics, we like pics here.
Alot of the frequent posters are kinda indesposed right now.
They're partying their butts off in Maggie Valley, North Carolina,
at the regional Rocket Launch.
I'm sure there'll be alot of pics up in a couple of days,
once they sober up..
Again, WELCOME from OKLAHOMA, U.S.A.

Welcome Haloids, I'm not too far from you and you almost tempt me to visit Thailand just to hop a ride on your Rocket so that I can have my Rocket fix. Unfortunately, my wife knows that "most" guys (who work where I'm at) go to Thailand for something else other than riding a motorcycle and if I did it better be with her....so enjoy that riding, I'm envious.

Brian,
how come you ain't with everybody else out in the valley?
I thought me and Lon were the only ones not able to make this party.
Brother, they must be having a great time, as they called the other evening to rub my nose in it;).
The only consolation prize is my bike is running like a scalded ape with that new TPS on her, and holding her idle again.
Well, that and the fact I made contact with the guy I'm buying LeAnns bike off of tomorrow.
So I guess, we'll be a two rocket family at the next Rockets Across America.
At least if the lady at the bank wasn't just blowing smoke over the phone..

Are you serious, A RIII in the land of smiles? The locals must think your from outer space.
I would love to see their expression when they get a glimpse of her. Welcome aboard. Cheers!
