Wanting a Roaster Frame (Not from Australia - Unless it is a Repairable Write-off----NOT a STATUTORY WRITE OFF)
Prefer NOT crashed.

Is the Roadster frame different to the earlier model's frame besides lug welds that effect fitment of those
'Jack-B-Quick' jacking plates and RIVCO centre stands? Arrhh just remembered the ABS equipment location where centre stand would go.

Biggest issue I imagine is the compliance plate that comes with it. A non Aussie frame is likely to have a lot of difficulties getting registered in any State in Australia and further problems when changing interstate if ever. For example Repairable write-offs in other States like statutory write-offs can NEVER be registered in the ACT at all, regardless of whether they have been re-registered in ANY State. Buyer beware for ACT residents.

Grab any old frame, grind the numbers off and register it as a home built bike. Not a branded bike. Well that might not work in Australia. But in Virginia if you roll your own, the State Police will issue a VIN number, and you register it as home built.

Can only feasibly do that with trailers here in Oz, powered vehicles need very expensive Engineer's reports. doable but a red tape nightmare.
