Removing the need for a key...

I dont particularly like keys on my rides. I have a proximity device on my bike which allows the bike to start when im near, but when im not it kills the bike and leaves it dead.

All good so far.

The problem is that to get under the seat I still need to carry a key. I was wondering if any smart guys out there have a simple and seamless way to replace the seat lock with "something" which will allow me not to have to carry the key?

Single seat but it seems the pull chain is the simplest solution.

I went for screw type fuel cap incidentally - what you got on yours?

The way fuel prices are going you're going to need a locking cap and an armed guard.

Okay, you want subtle...

Get a choke cable and knob from an old Honda. The knob says CHOKE on it and you could install it up on your bars where a normal choke would be mounted so that it looks stock.

Now thats an idea - apart from mounting it in the handlebar. A small choke pull ought to fit in the lock barrel space...
