Remove front fender

hey guys,

Any issues if I remove the front fender and ride without it?

Does it serve any structural purpose?

A friend drove through some cattle sh1t on his B31, without a front fender, when we were in the New Forest a long time ago.
 
It's less about planning to take it off, and more about having run into the back of a car the other day, and now it's crunched, and had to come off.

Also have to replace a shock.

But, having taken it off, I actually like the look. Maybe I'll cut up one to get a small one to protect the radiator and me a little, and still get the look I want.
