My rocket runs fine, however, the oil tank is constantly empty (or very low)... unless it's running at higher than idle. Does this indicate an issue with my lubrication system?

I've found that if you run level of oil as per recommended there seems to a low oil condition, What I do is check level by just letting the dipstick rest in the opening in the opening, there maybe a little too much oil but I prefer more than not enough. Unless you are blowing oil this should be good. I run 10,000KM between oil chg, level does not move. Have fun!

If your talking low after shutting it off and sitting overtime then there are a few places that it could leak down when off over time . Mine agter a week is so low the oil light comes on when you first fire it up. I checked the last time I had it open and the little spray nozzle that is right on the pressure pump and sprays the clutch basket dribbles when the bike is off. I suspect the nozzel is spring loaded so it sprays after pressure is up has a piece of trash in it so it does not close and seal. I think I'll go tear one apart and see whay makes it tick.

Ok here is a couple quick pictures so you can see what I am referring to.
First the oil spray nozzle

Hope this helps.

If there is no danger of running out of oil, than that is a good winter project. Now its time to enjoy the ride. Here in Montreal its 45 degs but sunny this morning, signs of things to come.

Oops! Had not seen the pics. Hope you get it together before season runs out.
