As an 18year old , just like all 18yr olds I obviously knew everything.
Now I am a 50yr old I can no longer remember any of the things I knew so much about when I was 18 .
And that seems to be the prime indicator on how we feel about getting older Norm. That is, how one's joints are holding up and the level of pain. I see guys nearing 80 who are still running while all I can say is that I remember running.
A few years ago a young kid told me that I'm only as old as I feel, as if aging was a state of mind. I asked him who told him that.
Mike,
We, the aged, have all heard this from the young, "I'm only as old as I feel".
We, the aged, know that there is Bull Pucky.
Don't get me wrong; as we age, attitude is important; but, the break down of the body governs ALL!!!
Just read a medical report that concluded people who drink alcohol and coffee and are overweight in their 70s tend to live longer. The researchers are puzzled by the outcome of the study.
