I've noticed that the radiator fan on my 09 Rocket comes on more than the one on my 05 did. Ridin the last couple of days in mid 50 degree weather, within a minute the fan is kicking on if I'm at a stop idling. On my 05 Rocket the fan never kicked on unless it was in the 90s, and then it took a couple of minutes of idle to make it do that. What's the norm? Is there any adjustment on Tuneboy or just a place to look to see what the switch is set at? I know, I'm bored.
Do as idk suggests - my 2009 hardly comes on at all until I'm stood still and then only after a thrash - and that in 30+ºC

Better check your coolant level if you haven't already. If I remember correctly when I had a leak in the overflow system it slowly emptied the overflow bottle, It then started emptying the radiator. Then the fan cycle got more active and brought my attention to the problem.

good point Goth!!!!!!!!

Make sure you check the radiator cap as sometimes the level in the overflow tank can look OK but the radiator can be low. This is due to air getting sucked back and not fluid.

The fan on my Roadster comes on noticably earlier than it did on my '04. I just thought they did it on purpose as I notice my Roadster never gets as uncomfortably hot as the '04 did either. I'm leavin' mine that way. Just a thought.
