**** flipster,
that was well said....... so, does this mean i buy two root beers? :D

for what it's worth, passion can sometimes be mistaken for arrogance. Walt is fiery, but not vindictive........ that's the way i see it.

did the damper assembly fit over the original headset nut? or does it have one to install for fitment..... just wondering.. it's a very nice set-up. and yes, a bit pricey, but still worth it.

That's the key... the stock headset nut gets replaced by the special nut in the Scotts kit. Fortunately Triumph uses the same size headset nut on the R3 as the TT600. Mounting blocks had to be ground slightly to fit the R3. All in all, a very worthwhile mod for high speed riders... curves that I used to take at 75-80 MPH, I can now take at 90 MPH no problem, due to absolute rock solid steering. It's almost like power steering in that respect ... you take a high speed line and she stays right there with no effort.

Check your email.

Thanks Flip, thanks HeR3tic, and thanks Goodfellow. Believe it or not we share the same passion... the R3. My vision might be different from yours, but never the less it is inspired by the same R3. I make mine what I envision... be all it can be. No, she ain't a cruiser anymore, but everything I do is by my own mind and hands... my creation.

I know you all can identify with that... nuff said! ;)

Absolutely, you are RIGHT hombre.:bch: But will you be in Eureka Springs, NO excuses? Be there and let us know how your UGLY avatar isn't really you. I'd feel the same if it were an image GWB.

Next additions to the "cockpit" are these small (2.25") SPA gauges. One is a combo SC Boost and Exhaust EGT gauge, the other an Intercooler In/Out Temp gauge. Both have peak recall and alarm functions. I 'll post an installed photo.

My thanks to W. Tripp for recommending these gauges.
