Race Cockpit

Completed R3 "race" cockpit... the red buttons under the SPA gauges control the EPROM (peak recall and alarm functions):

Walt:

You and Dennis are contending for the 'most cluttered handlebar area award' and you are both 180 degrees opposite one another.:)

Looks very functional. Nice job.

Thanks, Flip! I consider that high praise from a Master Fabricator.

Hey, I sure could use a billet rear brake resevoir... ;)

I think if I had all that on my handlebars I'd be so distracted watching the gauges and blinkey lights that I'd drive off the road. Hombre, the bike looks great! You've obviously put a lot of time and effort in it and it shows!

Thanks, John! It's an interesting project.

Headlights finally enclosed inside fairing:

Looking good Hombre,

Are you planning on completing anymore upgrades before heading to Maxton in September?

Thanks, Tony!

Yes, my Beringer 6 piston Aerotec front brake calipers and Aeronal rotors should be arriving from France shortly. I've wanted these brakes and rotors for 1 year... but not so easy to get from Beringer. They say they have shipped from France... so we shall see. IMO the stock front brakes are way too unreliable for the Maxton mile. See: http://www.r3owners.net/custom-mods/3481-beringer-aerotec-finally-available.html
