Good question.
Day 1 is Saturday, Sep 12th.
Best to arrive at Dave's @breeze the afternoon prior (Fri Sep 11) or hook up with us in Cortez Sat afternoon.

Please remember I have not secured any hotels as yet. Once we know how many are coming, I will make contacts regarding occupancy numbers, prices and alternates at Cortez, Mexican Hat, and Bryce.
BTW, the place at Mexican Hat I've in mind is awesome!

OK, Boys & girls, I think I have a rough draft for a Utah RAA.

Day 1:
A short ride of 86 miles to a hotel in Cortez, CO. for 2 nights.
Ride and enjoy the Mesa Verda National Park.

Day 2:
Optional 242 mile ride to Telluide, Ouray, the Million Dollar Hwy, and back to Cortez.
Google Maps

Day 3:
Short ride of 100 miles to hotel in Mexican Hat, UT. for two nights and then a play ride of 112 miles which may or may not include the famous Moki Dugway.
Google Maps

Day 4:
Optional ride of 250 miles to Moab, UT., the Arches National Park, and back to Mexican Hat.
Google Maps

Day 5:
Ride 287 miles to a hotel in Bryce, UT. for two nights.

Day 6:
Optional ride of 288 miles to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and back to Bryce.

Somewhere in there is also the option to ride to Rainbow Point (39 miles round trip).

Day 7:
Ride back to Bloomfield, NM (412 miles in one day) or . . .
Google Maps

I recommend a reverse ride back through the Capital Reef as It is very different and WELL worth the scenery and the piddly 25 extra miles you would save riding the southern route through Kanab, UT and Page, AZ.
Remember "Rough Draft". All is subject to change as we move on toward September.

That looks like some good d@mn riding. Much like I had planned for Theresa and I for our Utah ride this year anyway.
I'll have to look again, but a 3+hour ride each way to the Grand Canyon makes for a looong day if you plan to spend some time there. Unless of course the roads are worth it.

Just an advisement, there is entrance fees to all the Nat'l Parks. Something like $15/bike. You can get a Nat'l Park pass for $80ish and 2 bikes can get in at each park with it. Both riders must sign the pass though.

So, count on Theresa and I being there.

You ready all for this, my friend?
You may have quite a pack O' trailer rigs at your place.
Those considering a drop at your place should look into lodging in Bloomfield for the night prior to our heading out on this great RAA adventure!
Perhaps we pass the hat and have @Mad Dog do us a feed bag that evening?!?
We would be glad to cook, will need to know what we’ve got to work with when the time comes to start planning.
