Might I suggest that your host town be Leaky, Texas. It is at the confluence of the Twisted Sisters. Bandera is about an hour away.

As some of you know, we had a Rocket Salvo event there back in 2010. The host site was the Frio Pecan Farm. Nice 2 BR cabins in a pecan grove.





This event was also my chance to obtain my Iron Butt Association credentials. Completed a Saddle Sore 1000 on the way down and a Bun Burner 1500 on the way back.

Thanks for the tip. I'm headed down there in April and I will check this place out.

If anyone else has a favorite please sling 'em out there and I will check when I go down in April.
 
Gentlemen...I may have been misunderstood so let me be clear...we can go anywhere and do anything we feel we are big enough to do (and some things we probably aren't big enough to do ). If there are some sights you would like to see along the way, or some cultural activities you would like to engage in during the trip please let me know and I will try to ensure they are included for those that wish to participate. The good thing about this part of Texas is that the trip can pretty much be as wild or as mild as the group chooses. This general area sees a LOT of motorcycle traffic when riding conditions are good and is pretty well versed in entertaining bikers.
