Am I confused, that was when Lupe serviced that diesel Harley? Forgot it was you and Breeze.

I have personally stayed at the LaQuinta and the budget host in Wytheville. You get what you pay for. The Budget Host was just a bit below my standards for safe, comfortable and cleanliness. The LA Quinta was a nice place with the Mexican restaurant walking distance down the hill. Not a 5star resort, but a good clean place to sleep. Never had a problem at either place, just had that feeling about the Budget Host that made me go to La Quinta the next time we were in town.
Btw. I'm a truck driver so my standards can be extrapolated from my occupation. Lol

I looked at LaQuinta first, stayed at them before, seem to remember that had negative reviews, I'll look again.

5-12 sure looks like the second week.

The poll is pretty convincing first week, and those dates would be good, me thinks -- show up on Tuesday the first, and folks who need to, could head back Saturday or Sunday (5th - 6th).

I may get there earlier, or maybe visit my daughter in Raleigh first. I will start calling motels, see what kinda deal we can get. Be good to have a rough head count, I will probably bring a buddy or 2. Guess we need a new thread.
