Well it looks like I will be camping at the Twin-Springs Resort less then a mile from the hotel. Only one more RV site available! Having never put a motorcycle into the back of a pickup are there any tips? Yea I know I should ride it but the wife can't pull the trailer.

Yup, tie it down
Go to harbor freight, buy a motorcycle wheel choke for $50.00,
it will keep the bike upright while you tie it down,also reduces the side to side movement.I used 2 of them on my trip to San Francisco a few months back, best money spent for safety
Or just use some rachet straps from the handlebars to the truck bed and you are set
