Lots of Ghost Towns to see in NV but most are on dirt roads. Lake Tahoe has many great roads around the area and all through the Sierras is beautiful. Just watch out for bears. Virginia City is a tourist trap but does have good food and beer. Tioga Pass is open after May I think and a great spot too. Did a lot of Mountain Warfare training up there once upon a time.
There is a decent chance my "extreme" ironbutt ride next year will be from Key West, Florida to Deadhorse, Alaska. You guys could always join me for a rolling RAA...
Old dog bikers like the same music?
BTW - I be sitting in a nice suite overlooking the most beautiful ocean [Pacific Coast that is!] Enjoying the company of my bride of 41 years!
I'm hoping not to miss this years soirée
However our company is being sold so everything is up in the air, don't know if I'll have vacation time or even a job.
But if it all works out then the Big Chief blue Indian and I are in.
