Question for those who installed Carbon Parts

I took a quick look at the rad. cover, and it didn't look to obvious how it comes off. I haven't looked at the manual, I'm still trying to decide if I want to start down the CF rabbit hole on this bike. But the exhaust kind of started for me. ha ha. Hopefully there's a decent explanation how it comes off. Otherwise, plastic tabs WILL be broken.

on the early rockets there are 4 short bolts on the radiator so if you put a long bolt in there it punctures he rad.

Thanks, I'll pay attention. I think I'm gonna get the rad. shroud, and cap. And the gas cap. Quick $500. ... Shakes head..

The rad shroud is held on by a couple of screws at the top (you have to get under and look up to see them, plus a couple of push-pin plugs on the sides. Not too hard.

FWIW I went with CarbonFBR and got a lot of parts through them, all just replace what's there (cap covers are just that though - covers) and are good quality, low maintenance. When I got them CarbonFBR worked out the cheapest. I don't treat them any different to the painted panels on the bike and they show no signs of wear and tear. I basically wanted to go a more blacked out look. Since this pic, I've added carbon to replace the left side panel and the front red flyscreen as well:

I ordered the Rad. shroud and fender sides. So, the "push pins" you mean the plastic rod that pushes into a rubber "doughnut" that you just pull out on? It separates from the black plastic piece below it? I found the little torx screws in top front. Two for each side. ...I guess it'll help when I see the carbon part.

Yeah, like one of these:

And from memory, the shroud is attached to the two lower side pieces which you unscrew and screw into the carbon upper.
