Unfortunately Marty has had to pull the pin on coming to philip island for the Worlds SBK free ticket includes camping and pit lane pass
PM me if interested, sorry about the short notice guys but Marty has not had much of an option on this
 
Free World SBK Phillip Island, super bike ticket, now available.

Sadly it's with deep regret due to medical reasons I'm unable to go to Phillip Island for the World SBK races with Hanso. Yes thanks to to Diabetes, combined with the added now complication of now being put on two types of insulin. I now have a 6 to 8 week period that I'm not to consider driving locally let alone long distance. Thus the reason I can no longer make the trip.

My sincerest apologies to all whom I said I would visit along the way and to those that said they would ride some of the way with me on my way down.

Just gotta check my bank figures and see how I'm lookin before a definate "Yes".
Also need to run it by Mrs Cobba when she get back as well.

No worries I had sent you a text, if it helps I will supply the bourbon , I usally take about 4lires, can take more if nessasary. You will only need fuel money and we cook our meals from grocerys bought at local supermarket which saves heaps. The only other money you need is a bit of spending if you wish

I really should be home workin but it's just a pity to see this oportunity slipping by, and not often you get such an offer.

Real sorry to hear that Marty but you gotta look after yourself. Hope you come good soon mate.

I'm a small chance I can come with you Hanso and will let you know. Just bad timing with Amanda's house on the market and packing and stuff.
 
Took me forever to find this thread again. My computer and me struggle with the search function on this forum, but found it at last.


A big thanks to Hanso for the weekend pass and his hospitality.
Had a ball camped with him and his motley crew.
3 nights camping at the Island, track pass and pit pass. On top of that, a well organised camp kitchen and team to make it happen.
Big thanks to the girls for making sure we all got fed every night.

My first time for the Superbikes but I enjoyed it more than any of the trips to the GP.
So much more relaxed atmosphere for this weekend than the other.
Smaller crowds, smaller campgrounds but still high adrenalin racing.


Once again, thanks Hanso for the oportunity. Glad to see you got home ok, even if it was on the wet side.
