When possible "we" take our bikes to these Guys because they (Supposedly) know what they are doing.
Tuning a Carburetor is a walk in the park compared to all the variables these EFI systems have.

Cruising - So 120-ish then.

Mine would be dead after a few days sitting. Never on a trip where I rode every day.
Here is what I only recently discovered after several years with the keyless.
When I exit the motor and am ready to walk out of the garage I click my remote.
Shortly after that the red light goes off. Been doing this for a month now and NEVER a dead bat!
DO not know if this is correct or what, but it is working well for me so far.

I usually put it on the battery tender when the weather is terrible or I don't plan to ride for a couple days. I didn't intend to not ride, weather and lack of sleep got me.

Do you click 1 time walking away and then again when your are ready to ride?

I just gave up fighting it. First start of the day, no matter the temps, I have to use my microstart jumpstarter. Only needs it first start of the day, then it’s good the rest of the day.

Minor inconvenience but I’ve adapted to it. The microstart lasts 3+ weeks using it this way before needing a recharge.

I blame cold oil, compression, and a lumpy cam. The starter upgrade I’m going to do next week will hopefully resolve it.
