Part number?

Gonna stop by a local autoparts store today on my way home to check prices on a set of replacement bulbs for my 08 Rocket III standard.

Does anyone know the appropriate part number or whatever identifying number I need to I can be sure to get the correct ones?

Dunno about the touring but they are H4 type bulbs on all the other years.

Went by our Advanced Auto here and they don't carry them. Thinking about ordering them from NewR3.com - $17.99 a pair, but the shipping was $7.95. Still sounds like a good price - at least they don't charge sales tax.

I was thinking the exact same thing. But was going to see if I could get them for less at the auto-parts store. I don't NEED to replace them. I'm just looking for something brighter without having to spring for an HID conversion.

I just may order them from newr3 and be done with it. What I found on eBay with shipping would end up being about the same anyway.

Hey Everyone,

I am running a pair of Extreme White lamps but I don't remember what MFG (maybe PIAA). I know they were shipped in @$85.00 and that was two tears ago. The light output is awesome but illegal. The box said for off road use only because they are 130/90W with the current draw of a 65/55W. When I installed them I check the current and it was less than the stock bulbs.

Last night I sent out about 25 emails looking for HID that will work on the Rocket. It appears the the HID bulb actually move in and out for Hi and Low beam. It's odd, the HID on my F350 are Hi/Low beam HID and the bulb doesn't move. They have a dual arc element and function the same as a stock bulb.

I'll post the results as they come in.
