Old School

I may try another coat. The R3Touring runs a 180/70/16 rear. Closest thing to a whitewall is a D407 Dunlop from Harley in the $300 range. I'm thinking of trying something from my artist days call Workable Fixatif and spraying a coat of that on before the tire paint.

So I hit the paint with a high pressure washer and soap and it took me about 30 minutes to get it off of there. I finished off the little pieces that were left with a small stainless wire brush. I'm done with tire paint, guys. It looked promising but didn't pan out. I did, however spot a Vee Rubber 200/60-16 whitewall at Motorcycle Superstore. Any of you guys ever try one of those? I've never heard of them before.

Don't let it not working out discourage you.
I've got at least 4 sets of exhaust laying around here that didn't work out.
Finally got one that was close, not exactly what I wanted, but close enough to work with.
Still not exactly right, but close enough I can live with it for a little while.
my rear fender went back to the shop two or three times before it was "close enough"
to live with, still not exactly right, but winter's coming so........
