oil leaks and noisy diff

Hi there, new member. Brit Living in southern california. Bought my Rocket a couple of years ago (new). Happy with bike generaly, but dissapointed with the lack luster performance and pathetic top speed. The rear end is noisy and leaking oil. Is the leak a British thing or what?. I`m now having to spend approx 10k on the bike to get it to move out of its own way.

Good golly what's the problem...leaking is a Brit thing not that the US Congress hasn't caught on to the howto manner of it in the last 20 years. When was the last time you changed the rear end oil. Try some Amsoil NOW. Put in a TuneBoy. 10k for what?? Get yerself a TuneBoy, I already said that . Toss the cat box. What kind of speeds are you wanting? What is your setup details. Don't say you've been pulling a house trailer; usuns down here call 'em mobile homes.

I`ve already tossed the cat box and exhaust system. I`m currently running the modified triumph short exhaust with their cat eliminator( am I scaring you yet), The shop also put in the (Wait for it......drumroll please) full power down load. Ive tried the bike with nitrous and it still can barely pull back my foreskin. I am going for the supercharger and cams valves headwork kinda job. Its silly that this masive engine only pumps out 140hp. I think I might have alittle more in mine but its still embarrasing. There is no reason why this slug cant pump out 250hp on pump gas. Back in 1990 ford managed to get 500 plus hp out of an 1800cc 4 banger. (RS200). The guys at the factory probably fell asleep at the wheel when they were deciding how much power to give this thing. Dont get me wrong I love this monster, it just has kitten power.

What part of the tiny piston SKIRTS will hold up to the RPM. Skirts do the twist...great till a pin lets a rod loose.
