Today was an amazing day to burn some gasoline. But I totally blew the oil cap off somewhere along the way. Got one on the way.

Mine pushes on, and the dipstick is attached to it. So I've not seen this before. I thought it was a screw fit with the stick separate? So, checking the oil, do I push this home or when the cap touches the opening? I just got this bike, btw.

Be careful of going down the carbon fiber rabbit hole. It will suck you in after the first few parts. This started with a front fender. I'm trying hard not to go there with the rocket. But the bits that came with the exhaust are making me stare at the rad. shroud

I'm pretty sure the coolant cap wasn't redesigned for anti-theft reasons. They were falling off too. Now the screw holds it tight. They tried to fool everyone with those cheap plastic faux caps like they were genuine. It's sold as a premium bike but far from one, mine is covered with corrosion and discoloration and it's always been garaged.

True. The finish on the bevel box has lifted, and the same on the rear wheel. I think Chinese finishes are probably superior. The tops of the rear suspension have weathered badly, and there is rusted chrome all over. I just got the bike, so I don't know the history as far as storage goes. Such an expensive, you would expect far better.
