These rhododendron's seem to grow like weeds around Maggie Valley. Ours put on a good show this year with all the rain we've had.

They do look nice, but they also take over vast areas if left unchecked.
Over here in many parts, they have to be cleared out to give indigenous species a chance to thrive.

That seems to true in the southern United States. They don't really thrive up here in the cold.

Was actually going to replace it this year with another split rail fence but then the big "C" showed up and kinda messed up my plans for the summer. I think she'll make it one more year

I have one of those split rail fences too, needs repair. I think I am just going to yank it all out, cheaper
