Thanks for the comments on the garage. Back to the title, if your on the fence about a No-Mar tire changer, buy one you'll be glad you did.

My buddy and spent 4 hours the other night and never could get my rear tire from my Rocket III (240/50/16) reinstalled using his new NoMar machine. We have changed two or three before using a different machine with 3 of us. But, with this machine either the wheel wanted to rotate with the tire or the tire itself would turn with the tire when we would try and install the top bead. Good Luck with yours.

Were you using the Posi-Clamps when you had slippage?

Below is from their web site:

The Posi-Clamps® for dirt bikes and heavy cruisers.
They grip rims exceptionally well with minimal compression of the tire. Clamp set allows tire sidewall to hang over clamps without interference. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Heavy cruisers like Goldwing® and Harley® Touring Models. Works well on Vintage rims too when axles stick out. Holds rims up 4 1/8 inch off of machine frame arms. Comes with extra Spool kit. Rotate spools for extended life! These clamps are installed simply by replacing your existing dog blocks, and cam block. Just slip them in place, and your ready to go.
