..I've got an old set of tins that I want to get painted..was thinking of yellow like yours with an black racing stripe down the middle..don't quite know yet..
..I like this copper color on the Dodge trucks..was wondering what it might look like on the beast..
..oh, and thank the gods of good luck that your get off wasn't any worse than it was..
check out Mike he does many "unusual finnishes" he also has a fulltime airbrush artist can most likely recreate your original tins http://www.mywingbling.com/
Wow. I never thought about riding a bike with scales before, but it could work. I have had "cold-blooded" bikes in the past.
Just out of curiosity, how much does this guy get for his efforts? I know the sky's the limit when it comes to painting, but say on average for a set of R3 tins with the "critter skin" look.
Pete, that was taken the next day as they met for the Ace run to Southend, I was laid up in hospital. The photo's were taken by someone on RIII owners in Brentwood and sent to John who passed them on to me after I asked to see them as I have no memory of the crash nor the state of the bike!!!
Doug, I have a full set of grey tins that have never been used, got them with the bike as part of Limited Edition package... Insurance is paying out for replacement but those tins are not available, so was wondering what replacements to get that are around... might get them to paint the grey tins if nothing floats my boat!!! :?
