What a great site to visit. I've been riding my 08 Rocket Roadster for a couple of months. Found the site while trying to find out how to take off the seat. The dealer where I bought the bike couldn't get it off and I wanted to check the filter. I have read many postings and now feel I have a working knowledge of the Rocket. Like the fancy shift indicator that shows the wrong gear, I now know it's a GIPro T01 and should be a T02. When I did get the seat off, no filter. That's alarming to a guy in dusty West Texas. However, from postings, I learned of filters under the tank. Thank goodness there it be! After riding about 1500 miles I noticed my D & D pipes were turning blue. I pulled several plugs and it appeared extremely lean. Now I have downloaded the TuneECM, bought the OBD2 cable, PC5 + AT. The map I installed is the 20227 from Power Commander. With about 500 miles on the PC5+AT, I pulled the plugs and it appears good to slightly rich. By the way, when I was putting the PC5 on I found it already had a PC3 with the O2 bypass. If anybody is interested I don't think I will be needing it. Looking forward to visiting with you guys and maybe get a better map to dial this thing in. A special thanks to all that take the time to respond to our questions. One question I have, do I need to disconnect the GIPro when making adjustements and/or putting in new maps? Thanks:)

DW, are you sure you have a rocket and not a Honda cbx?
The rocket has only 3 plugs (i think?)
Welcome to the forum! you will love it here:D

G'day and welcome from Downunder. Sounds like your bike has had a few things done to it. You might want to look into ditching tyne under tank filter and fitting triples. Improved flow but also makes it much easier to get at all the things under the tank. Good to have you join us.

Welcome from Canada! Your experience totally reflects mine. Learned everything I know about wrenching on a Rocket from this site and I've done things that I never thought I would be capable of in a million years. I've never heard of having to disconnect the Gi Pro but others on this site are more knowledgeable than me.

Two per cyclinder, you knucklehead.
Actually, I found out when the mechanic showed me the plugs after he did the 10k tune up.
Now I don't feel so bad.
Welcome aboard DW.
