After much research and deliberation, I finally closed the deal on a new 2015 Roadster. I'm looking forward to both the bike and this community.

I currently own three other bikes, and have owned dozens previously. However, the biggest displacement bike I've ever owned next to the Rocket was roughly half as much.

Yup, that's the one! I've already been out a few times on my GSXR and my Venture (after spending most of the weekend rebuilding the clutch slave cylinder on that bike, along without a couple of other issues I noticed while I had it apart), and can't wait to get the Rocket home. Should be this week. I'm in the SE.

Hey It's supposed to be real nice on Thurs and Fri. If I get off work at a decent hour 230-3pm . Maybe a quick ride or meet up for a beverage? I live in SE. Somerset.

Let me know. I'm going to try to do a quick oil change and fuel swap tomorrow or Wednesday.

I know the feeling. My first motorcycle was a Honda Shadow ACE 1100. I bought my first RIII (a lovely red one that died a horrible death on the freeway) to replace that Honda. Have mercy, what a jump in size/power that was!
