Test Ride

Took out a Roadster this weeek. easily the best bike been on. Amazingly stable, torquey, comfortable and smooth. WANT ONE

Whatever model you get, may I suggest that you add extra lighting for the dark twisties. IMO of the few little things that are lacking on the R3 (besides no 6th gear) is the headlights are weak and leave dark areas no matter how they are adjusted. Driving lights are a must.
In 18k miles on my 08, my only repair has been a small drip from the water pump shaft seal repaired under warranty. OH >>>> and it eats tires! lol

Hi there. What mileage do you get out of the back tyre, OK tire. Have heard wildly differing reports. One bloke told me 10,000. Others say 5,000. Suppose if you tear the arse out of it you'll get not much but by riding on the torque is 8-10,000 feasible? Nick

yes it is......... !!

Ive not gotten through subsequent posts that verify an existence of a "Roadster" four years old. But my early assessment is... Permagrin
