Finally got time. Pulled all the electrical connectors apart sprayed contact cleaner Put new gas in tank. Fired right up. Apparently low fuel signal kills fire. Oil became milky in less than 3 minutes. Drained refilled tried again got milky right away. I guess I’ll keep draining then short run till clears up
The low fuel signal shouldn't kill the ignition.... might be an issue. As to the milky oil condition, (you're probably doing this) use the cheapest motorcycle specific oil you can find for flushing the engine. Was the engine completely immersed in water? Does the clutch release? Sometimes the plates might end up fusing to one another (rust). Doesn't hurt to try the bike before pulling the front cover off. Also, you probably have a build up of a white slimy substance on the internals of the engine and oil tank. Flushing the engine will help get rid of it. Engine heat will also help evaporate the stuff. Filter will probably have to be changed on your final oil change.
