Another Aussie welcome.... What's your other ride you speak of? Also tell us a bit about yourself and bikes you've had in the past, we all find this stuff interesting. Any pics of your new and old rides?

My other is a 1966 Suzuki vs1400glpt. I shan't mention the one I started on. I learned well how to make too small a bike do touring on heavy grades. It's hard on the clutch but if you've got plenty time.....

I figured that get ya, but couldn't find the edit button on the phone version of this site. Trifocals ya know.

Oh and while haven't hunted for tell tale sensor wires I DO have dual disk front brakes. Abs or no this Leviathan can stop on a dime and hand back 9 cents change;)

Hello RocketJohn and welcome from Dumfries in Prince William County VA. I have tested my ABS on the 2014 R3T at 85 MPH indicated and can say they work great. I hope you never need to emergency brake at that speed, but if you do, the ABS sold me on its technology; this is my first ABS bike out of 28.
I do love your part of the state as those roads are made for bikes down there. I do not get to ride them as much as I did on my last bike but I do pass through on I-81 a couple of time a years en route to TN.

Enjoy your new ride and the cut-ups we are here on line.
