New Guy.....SW Okla

CTs simply require more rider input (countersteer) in the turns... nothing an experienced rider can't get used to in an hour or two!

piece of cake. (with the right PSI)
just ask Lon.
I put mine on the day we left for Maggie Valley,
had too much air in it the first time we went down the dragon.
Got to the motel and let it down a couple of lbs.
Rode like it was made for it the next time.
I'll NOT be going back to a metz.
Like I said, whats not to like.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase. I have to know, Did you know the guy that you bought the bike from or was it a dealer? I don't know if I could buy a bike that has that much custom work without having access to the guy that did the work. How many miles on her? How many miles did the bike have on it when it had the turbo installed?
It seems there are quite a few Rs captains here in the heart of the country. I'm up in Ponca City and xdskip is not far from me also. I have yet to have the pleasure to meet up with him but I plan on correcting that next spring when things warm up.
Good luck with your new bike.

Thanks again for all you guys input, this place is going to be a lot of fun, and seems like a valuable resource.
The bike was owned by an individual who apparently bought it at an estate sale very reasonably, then put gobs of money into it to make, and I quote "The Ultimate Sport Cruiser" ,I liked what he'd done for the most part, and after seeing the bike on line called and after several chats went down to look at it, and as you can see the rest is history.Don't know for sure but I think he was more of a sport bike guy,and he said it was just a lot more bike than he needed. He was moving had kids and needed money so we made a deal. Not to worried about all the mods, as theres allways soloutions to problems, and as another friend has told me,worst case senario .... "Its just money theres no Honor involved".....hahaha.
Haven't done any long haul riding yet,and will have to put some long distance pegs somewhere on her,as I'm a pretty big guy and me tucking my knees up all day ain't gonna get it.
Oh and to answer another question,no I'm not a firefighter,I work maintenance for Goodyear in Lawton. (inside track on car tires I hear you say and yes I'm checkin..;)..stay tuned)
Hopefully get to meet a lot of you this year.
Duncan.

Got a beautiful phantom black back fender and stock exhaust I'll swap you out.
Might even throw in a couple of "extra" parts.
Just don't want you getting burnt by that wrapped pipe ya understand.

Yeah buddy ... those pegs pushed back look like "drag only", don't think sittin' upright for 100 miles will be too comfy. You might want to ask around and check the classifieds for parts, if the previous owner didnt give you the original peg mount bars you will need some to move them forward.
