New guy here with TTS Supercharger questions

Hey, I'm installing a TTS kit and I'm not getting much help... the instructions are quite quite vague. It mentions nothing about the Clutch perch or the clutch itself, only to Change springs. The one they supplied is nice ,but it's not compatible with the OEM light switches. Maybe I have to cut and grind up the oem one to mate together?
The tensioner pulley has me baffled because because it fits flush with the front cover and is no where near spinning. They also never sent a clutch cover gasket which I could possibly buy gasket material and trace around and cut a new one. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciated it.. thanks
 
You are in luck my friend, quite coincidentally i'm putting together a guide on the kit right now, the TTS instructions suck and leave out the hydraulic clutch, traction fluid circuit etc etc. Hit a bit of downtime with back problems so I can't do much these days.

Re the clutch side controls housing, you do indeed have to hack it up;

Then sand it down to smooth and either paint or powdercoat.

If you have or want to have heated grips, you will have to drill a new hole for the cable too, as the TTS clutch lever bracket covers the OEM hole.



You also have to make a short adapter wire. Female spade both ends, you can then connect the OEM connector to the TTS clutch switch. Either than or hack up the Triumph wires and put female spades on, would end up neater but is not reversible.

Re the tensioner pulley, the inner part is slightly wider than the outer part, the outer part should turn ok. If it doesn't you could take it apart to investigate, or send back.

Re the front cover gasket, the instructions say to use high temp RTV silicone on both the mating faces, and also the paper gasket. I haven't done so myself but reckon you could get away with just the high temp RTV silicone from the local auto shop.

Awesome, thanks!! That's what I was thinking. Check out this pulley.. even with supplied shims it's not going to work.

Regarding the clutch cover gasket. Buy a new one, a few dabs of gasket maker to hold in place and your done. Reason I suggest a new gasket, that’s a ton of seal area to clean up if your in there again.

Where can I get one ? Seems to be a custom cover...Could I purchase gasket material and trace the cover and cut out ?
 
It replaces the factory cover right? Seems logical the a stock gasket would work. I’ve not messed with a TTS kit so I may very well be wrong.
Not at all my friend.. completely different machined front cover and separate clutch cover.

Would you happen to have a pic of the coil bracket and relocation ?
