If you are using Barnett springs your clutch will seem mega-hard at first... don't panic like i did ... it softens up with time ... mine is easier than stock now. Had no issues since fitting it. That said i think i will need to get a MTC basket in the not too distant future , so will replace the Barnett plates with MTC then i guess.

Thanks will be putting the Barnett springs in ,so I can expect the clutch to be hard for a while my stock clutch was fairly heavy anyway. So I can hope for some improvement when new clutch settles in:(

Yeh mate it was seriously hard when first fitted. I thought i'd made a big mistake fitting it ... hahaha. Bloke in the shop told me " all Barnett clutches are like that"... he failed to mention in a few hundred kilometres it would soften up ... and be way better than the stock clutch felt.

Where's Bayside ??

Sounds more like you've increased the strength of your left flexor muscles - might be worth being a bit careful when gripping your todger with that clutch hand mate! :D

I'm running the Barnett clutch and springs as well. No problems other than the clutch springs are stiffer. I can't tell if they have gotten easier, or I've just gotten used to the new feel, but no cpmplaints so far. Like TOMCAT, I have some other issues, and might be looking at a clutch basket swap in the near future, but the Barnett clutch and springs are working fine.

Thanks for the input I am installing it today and will let you know how it goes. Sounds like I may need some gym work on my left hand for a while:)

Of no concern to me , or you i assume .. but be warned about the 'togle gripping' or whatever the term was ... sure you have a member of the opposite sex to take care of that task for you ;)

New Barnetts clutch now installed all good, does not feel much harder than stock clutch had to adjust up a little more than the stockie but just back from test ride and happy Hope that lasts:):)
