Need help with removing throttle housing on handlebar

Yep, learned that I didn't need take apart the throttle unit. I did need to take off the back side of the light control switch housing and ignition control housing because I don't have the "special tool." Just another way for triumph to try and keep things proprietary I guess.

But after all that work I found the new bar to sit up too high for my taste. Taking off the bar end mirrors still does not give me the clearance I'm looking for...going to have to keep looking for better bars...love the rocket but thinking I should've gotten the 1200rr
I made that "plastic tool' like i did with a flat head screw driver 2mm thick or a 2mm thick steel iron rod
