Au$478 + Au$122 postage with Au$600 insurance to cover postage too.

Geezuz! Au$478 is less than 25% of list price at Fowlers UK Triumph.

Postage with Australia Post for 6kg is Au$99.20 + Au$22.80 for Au$600 insurance = Au$118.20


Au$600 in Aussie dollars as Paypal 'Send money to Friends/relatives' so no fees for me - no idea of UK Customs duty but I can easily mark as lower cost if you want less insurance cover.
Other way to reduce CUSTOMS duty is maybe a Paypal Commercial transaction in Aussie $ so I only get hit with 4.2% commercial fees, then you are covered by Paypal and I can report a lower value on Postal forms and not purchase Australia Post insurance.
That would be Au$605 and I will put whatever value you like on the postal forms
