Are you talking Mazda?
If so, I have not herd any bad reviews... I have owned a Mazda CX7 in my company..
Nice car but it was not my daily drive. I sold it to a mate and it now has 200,000 ks on it without a problem.
 
arrrr! there now I know what you are talking about ..... had me wondering there for a while
 
We own an MX5. Bought new in 2008. Now has 76K and no major problems. Car is pretty bullet proof and a hoot to drive.

We trudge on (w/ the top down).
 
Haven't owned one but from everything I've read its the closest you can get to a classic British type 2 seater, think MGB Triumph TR series etc. But, without the oil leaks and temperamental SU's.

Stone reliable, a bit underpowered, but great for twisty roads.
