Wow! Another dry day in the Pacific Northwest! Trust me when I say that's rare this time of year. Taking advantage of it I got in another 100 mile ride today to Multnomah Falls along the Columbia River Gorge. I've been there many times before but never on a Rocket. I knew it would make a great backdrop for a bike photo.

Stop it!

Okay, I'm now officially jealous! Beautiful pic's! I wish that I could get up to that part of the country.

Definitely a poster shot. I climbed the trail to the top of Multnomah one time and that's the one time only that I'll ever do it. One doesn't realize just how tiring that can be for an old fat boy like me. The view from the top was as equally beautiful. I'm glad you're enjoying your new ride. Keep the adventures coming.

There are 7 waterfalls in about a 10 mile stretch on Interstate 84. The Columbian Scenic Highway winds its way through that area to expose access to them all. It's an unbelieveably beautiful motorcycle road. A lot of the falls require hiking to arrive at the base of the falls. I've exhausted myself on many a hike to get there. I was 310 pounds when I did that & am now 285. Great exercise.

I had to haul that bike there on a trailer. It's too clean.:D Great photos.

You should have seen it yesterday morning before I washed the Rocket for the first time! I'm sore today to prove this old body ain't what it used to be.

Wow!! Nice pics Bob!

It appears you're enjoying your new motorcycle! Miss the Beemer at all?

Each bike has it's strengths & weaknesses. I won't miss the full fairing, cruise control & heated seats of the BMW when I get some better temperatures & sunshine. By then I'll have a taller windscreen & trunk & throttle lock device. The BMW was easier to clean, no chrome. LOL
