I agree. I have to have a little rumble though. I had a Valkyrie with open pipes that sounded like a drag boat, but when I parked it for the night, I could still hear that scooter screaming for hours. That's a bit more than I'm looking for.

Yep. That's what I'm talking about. I think you would like the D&D mufflers.
As you live so close to D&D you should go there and convince the "powers to be" to make a complete replacement dual exhaust system, including mufflers, in 2" pipe with 2" muffler baffles. A complete system that would eliminate the CAT box looking box and the sharp bends would be a nice system. With or without equal length headers.
