More of us-Less Respect

I've been having to come into work an hour later than usual this week, and next, and let me tell you, the traffic sucks exponentially worse in that one hour difference! I am still actually glad to be on the Rocket though. I either hang back from idiots, or accelerate past them before they realize they had a target to aim for!

That is pretty much what I do. And that includes riding behind a vehicle with smog issues. I was behind one the other day that made my sinuses burn. Then I hit that throttle and he was in my rear view mirror and my speedo was reading 120mpg. :D

I took a few of those beetle/Outlander 800 pictures myself. My buddy Zac sold the quad to the guy. The funny thing is.. He owns a pick up. Didn't have time to go home to get it before they closed. He then brought the quad back the very next week on the roof of his beetler so that he could video tape it. He's going to submit it to some video show. He's from Partlow...whattya want?

I have a cell phone. That's not to say I know where it is or that it's even charged. I can remember turning it on in May and seeing a text message sent to me about a group ride in March if that tells you anything. A few days ago Britman was helping me change the manual transmission fluid in my car when it started ringing. I didn't even know where it was.

I've been hit twice. Once I was backing into by a tractor trailer. (he couldn't see me and oddly enough the damage was light)
I was also hit by a car of highschoolers leaving a convenience store back in 93. I broke my ankle and injured my shoulder. I still rode home.

I make every effort to imagine every scenario I can while it's going on. Sometimes I do ok..and sometimes I'm totally surprised at the lack of attention the rest of humanity displays while on the road.
