LOL,LOL,Ive been wondering about that part of today too,how in the he-- are they putting that program together. The Moon man is also the local volunteer fire chief. You may ,LOL,have just put moon/fire chief out of business.LOL. What ever happened to Thunder Road? LOL.

I got the backhoe and three bags of lime for decomposition waitin'. Don't cotton to no revenuers .

:eek:I find it would be a little difficult to make and sell moonshine if you publicize that toy are doing it. Ime sure the cops and ATF will just let ya go since its on tv and all

Here in Kentucky the revenuers enjoy a good batch of shine like the rest of us .... Just make sure you have the good stuff and you will be ok... don't be drinking or making crap.

That reminds me of a story.

While visiting my better half's hillbilly relatives in the NC hills, we happened upon a root cellar. I jokingly asked, "Is that where you keep the 'shine?" Everyone laughed and we moved along.

As I was walking out, the old guy who owned the home grabbed my arm and asked me to wait for a second as the women folk went into the house.

He then produced some firewater in a mason jar that warned me up for the rest of the stay.

"You know where it's at," he told me. "In case there's a need."

There was a need throughout the weekend.;)

I grew up in a little town in Southeast Ohio by the name of New Straitsville. It was known as the Moonshine capital of the world and every year had the Moonshine Festival which drew folks from all across the USA. During the festival they set up a still and were, under the close eye of the ATF or equivalent, able to make a limited quantity of the "shine". At it's height of popularity the festival attracted 30,000 people - now keep in mind that was for a town whose regular population was around 1,000. During the prohibition days the towns population was 2,500 and had 25 drinking establishments. Also the "good stuff" that was being made had such the reputation that it was being shipped to Europe.
