Trying to find a rusted out one of them , cut it in half flip it over and make ourselves a firepit. Called into the local scrappies here and got talking with the owners son. He's just about to pull the pin on a Colorado Norton Works Commando ..$32,000 he reckons. Going back next week and see if I can score a water tank.

COLORADO NORTON WORKS JUST UP THE ROAD FROM ME ,JUST TWO STONES THROW FROM OURAY COLO. DEFINETLY WORTH TIME TO STOP AND TALK WAS THERE GOING OVER PLANS ON 2 COMMANDOS MY SON AND I HAD TILL HE OFFERED T5HEM TO MY BROTHER STILL MAD

I recently picked up a nice '74 Commando that hasn't been on the road since 1989. Got it cheap and today I fettled the carbs , put in a battery and it started second kick and runs luvverly. took it for a quick spin and she was smooth as silk. a good buy
