I installed an EB kit immediately upon getting the bike -- having installed higher power primary lamps on previous bikes. Tried that on the Rocket and immediately ran into problems with heat. Fortunately, @DEcosse came along about then, and provided explicit recommendations for LEDs, and others have led the way (particularly @barbagris ) on the adaptives.

As time went on, switching to all LEDs, the EB kit just took up room in the headlight shell, and I removed it.
 
Yes. I have 2015 rocket X with 57,000 miles on it. Half of the mileage was done in the dark. Long open road back and forth to work with plenty of road hazards. About a 58 mile ride one way. The Daymakers have saved my butt on many occasions. Very expensive. If i did not ride as much at night as i do i would have never spent that much on just headlights. Believe it was around $640 dollars. Would not recommended if you do not ride a lot at night. A friend of mine has the lights that your planning on getting on his Harley. They work fine for him.

Deer here, last night was probably the first time in a year I rode at night, why I never upgraded my lights, either.
 
I, too switched to all LED's. Left the EB relay in, though. I only switched out the bulbs, as I rarely ride at night. When I do I'm generally in the areas with street lights.
The parking light inside the headlight shell fit the same led bulb as the license plate light. I did not mess with the signal bulbs, though, didn't want the hassle of figuring out resistors to keep the blinker circuit happy.

A few weeks ago I replaced the bulbs in my old Kawasaki, too. During that I found some replacement boots that fit the larger LED fins that some have. (Had to cut the Rocket boot a bit larger to fit that one in).

That being said they are BRIGHT! With the added auxiliary lights burning I can be seen a mile away.
