Be careful of the single tone direct replacements. I bought this one from NewR3 and and replaced my wimpy stock horn with a wimpy aftermarket horn that also looks goofy.

One of our locals who rides an ST1300 showed me his stebel air horn the other day. It had two tones, which I believe helps significantly.

Not too bad - a bit industrial but it's 136db - so theroetically 26 times louder than the 110db original. In theory....

I have the stebel compact. Don't know the decibel output, but if you sound it in a closed garage, it makes your ears bleed.

No room behind my sidepanel because of the alarm gubbins, so fitted it here.......

Not that I've noticed. It's been on there for about 18 months with no problems.

I went with the Rivco electric horns and they work great.
