We drove down to Decatur Tx. today (115 mi. from the house) so we would'nt have to get up at the crack of dawn to meet the other R3 couple in the morning to leave for Tucumcary N.M. So tommrow will be a 400 + mile day. Ten days on the Rocket, wish us luck and keep us in your prayers. Thanks.

Route 66 Territory

Have a safe journey and be sure and take some pictures for our photo album. Sounds like you might be following part of old Route 66. I drove it several times back in the late 60's and again in early 70. What a hoot! Supposed to be some great diners and dives along the way. Keep us posted.
