I installed one recently that you helped me find and found that because it is only attached under the seat end and the back end is off the mudguard a little. it bounced up and down wildly until I stopped that by putting a 1/4 inch rubber spacer at the back end to support it on the mudguard.

Your right Sonny, I think all the Roadsters around the time of the X had the same patterned and color vinyl seats. Others may confirm.
