yep definitely as close to behind 2 and 3 pods and higher as opposed to too near the throttle bodies . if the idle plays up , it's getting too hot so find a way to open it up a bit so the temp inside the little filer is the same as the ambient temp around it or near as poss ? I think you gonna need more than a sat if your relocating the recovery bottle and cutting the bear claw . it's all gonna work out wonderfully.the hardest part is fitting the Samco hoses .KY jelly helps there and there's less chance of it getting pregnant . but you will be tweaking the jubilee clips for a week or two . They are buggers for weeping when new !

do you think ? I thought being water soluble and rubber safe twuld be the perfect flange ramming lubricant ? What is chamois butter ? is that a euphorism?

I think tbh - following the manual works. But now mine are sealed - I'm not going to try. Thing is you have to tighten them far more than feels right.

I don't think he usually catered for blue bikes . I know your problems with him were valid and many . in fact , i never met someone who had half the bad luck you did with his products . but I do think the way he responded to your concerns was arrogant , unprofessional and down right rude . had it been I in your situation , I think I would have hunted him down and buggered him with a very blunt vegetable ! fortunately tho , yes they cost me best part of 10hp , but I love em still !

Tsk - such violence. There are much more interesting and excruciating things. Sit him in a tub of water and drop a few Candiru fish in. Have a coffee (maybe even a meal and a pint) and wait for the screams.
