Ah yes the ole "baked in the saddle" Iron Butt ride. Did one of those in 2012. Got almost half way when I started to get dizzy at 75 mph with heat stress symptoms. Took a road side break with my riding partner who had cooling rags. Finished the ride wearing a terry towel soaked with water under my Joe Rocket riding jacket for cooling.
