Injector resistance check

Has anyone tested their injectors resistance IAW the maintenance manual? I tested all three on my bike, each shows approximately 11.9 ohms. Book says 12.5-14 ohms or replace!
 
The fact that they're all the same leads me to believe it may be variations in testers?
 
my stock injectors are 11.8 ohms on each
used 60lb set are 12.2 each
new 60lb set are 12.7 each
 
i would not pay any attention to that small amount.
when i am checking solenoids i heat them up with a hair dryer they can go from 30 ohms to 300,000 ohms or they can go to an open. (checking with them off the vehicle).
the one that went to 300,000 was on the vehicle idling and we checked it after we had lunch.
just heating it up will raise the ohms a little.

of coarse if u have them off u should check the flow and maybe have them cleaned.
 
OK I feel better now. I was worried they were ruined. The bad ECU got the injectors so hot (with just ignition on), I burned a blister on my finger trying to unplug them! They seem to function normally with flow and hold pressure when unplugged.
 
they have a coil inside of them they will get really hot after a few pulses.
