I have been using map 20050 for a few weeks but today I find that the bike will not idle, it keeps stalling & I have to keep the revs up on the throttle. In trying to find out why I see that the idle settings in this map are a lot lower at progressively higher temperatures than maps 20218 & 20219. I have tried map 20050 with the idle settings altered - no difference in idle problem & have gone back to my original map 20218 which was downloaded by my dealer when TOR's fitted, still the idle problem so phoned the dealer & I am currently awaiting his call back. why does the idle speed differ in this map & is it ok to make alterations to the idle speed settings, I assume so but just checking.

That's very possible, also... have you washed, gotten the bike wet or possibly disturbed the electrics around the throttle bodies recently?

poor or no idle can also be caused by vacuum leak. Is it possible you could have knocked a vacuum hose off behind the throttle bodies?

I think I'd get out the "bendy light" and look her over real good around and behind the TB's anyway, just to be sure.

When I had this problem, one of the vacuum lines had been bumped off of one of the throttle bodies. As a result, it wouldn't idle for nothing.

You may want to check'em.

Had bike into dealer today, now fixed ok. Needed manual adjustment of stepper motor potentiometer. I am guessing here but it seems to be in line with post by "Toystoretom" which I can't find now but it is a real good "how to thread". So I'm a happy chap again.
