rocket touring
Hi all , its been a while since I last posted anything but I have a problem. For the past few years I have been in a position to renew my bikes every 18 months or so and now I am thinking of another new machine, problem is I never buy the same bike twice. This is causing me to have nightmares because the rocket touring is by far the most powerful bike I have had in the cruiser/touring range . **** ! It seems I have just answered my own question , power is everything. Oh well its now either a new paint job or another bike . Decisions decisions.

Why not get a different type of bike to go with it, instead of replace it. Why not try a sport tourer, or maybe something like an adventure bike.. maybe a BMW GS? True they are not more powerful, but they have different abilities and places they can ride. A GS is a cool bike if you want to try riding on some dirt!

That's my plan eventually. I would love to get a new Tiger Explorer XC and take some trips that I would not dare on the Rocket.

Spend some money on a super charger or turbo lol, it'll be like a whole new bike afterwards!

Or.....would you class the tourer as the same as the roadster? You could get a new roadster instead?

I know you, kaivalagi......buy a new bike (Ducati, MV Agusta) something faster than a Rocket. This way, you will still maintain a hugely fast cruiser yet have something "different" for your mood swings. (lol)
